This light and refreshing hummus is made without tahini, making it a lot cheaper and easy to make, so that’s ready to serve in seconds.
Ingredients
1 can Garbanzo beans
(chickpeas)
1 tsp cumin powder
½ tsp paprika
3 Tbsp lemon juice
3 ½ Tbsp Olive oil
¼ tsp chilli powder
1 Tbsp water
(add more for a thinner consistency)
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Method
Blend everything together in a food processor until smooth, stop and scrape down the edges and blend again. Garnish with a pinch of paprika.
Serve immediately with fresh ciabatta and a fresh green salad. Or refrigerate for later.
