This is a great dairy free, nut free basil pesto that’s easy to make and great on sandwiches or pasta.
2 cups fresh basil leaves
⅓ cup roasted sunflower seed
½ cup olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
4 cloves garlic
salt and pepper to taste
Place everything in a food processor and blend until smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning if you need to.
